    KINTORE HELIPAD

    Spotting Info
Head north on the A96 past Kintore village, follow the sign for industrial estate at the next roundabout, double back towards Aberdeen and take a left at the graded junction. The heliport is along a rough track to the left of a mini roundabout. Very friendly, ask for access, though out of hours the barrier is usually down. Not usually open at weekends.

    MINTLAW-EASTER NETHER CABRA FARM AIRFIELD

    Spotting Info
Not an easy strip to find so take care with these directions. Head west through Fetterangus village along the main road, Ferguson Street. At the end, turn right at the crossroads. The road will bend round to the left, ignore the two right turns here, go past a third right turn that leads to a house and take the next (fourth) right turn. The road bends right before straightening out and leading you to the farm. The road bends round the farm, and the track then continues on to the strip on the right. This is a very private strip and the owner does not welcome visitors.

    PETERHEAD-LONGSIDE AIRFIELD

    Spotting Info
Heading west away from Peterhead town, along the A950 a bit over a mile from the roundabout with the A90, turn right onto Tortorston Road and at the T-junction turn left. The airfield and hangars are about a half a mile along on the left. Very friendly, ask for access to hangars. Normally closed up during the week, best to visit at weekends though it'll only be open if someone's flying. The incomplete, unmarked wooden fuselage of Jungster G-BLDC is on top of the offices in the hangar. If the hangars are locked, there are gaps to look through.

    WHITERASHES-PITRICHIE FARM AIRFIELD

    Spotting Info
Head north out of Whiterashes village on the A947 and through Hattoncrook hamlet, over the brow of a hill. As you go down the hill there are 2 cottages on the right with a minor road between them. Go past them and take the next right, signposted Tarves. This takes you along the western perimeter of the strip. You'll find Pittrichie Farm along here and the track runs past it to the strip and hangar.
